A weekend passed with substantial more fights than before, thanks to the new additions to the AvA mechanics. The biggest change to the map was Euro being able to secure themselves the eastern base through extensive use of the new defense facilities.

Patch 1.2 kicked in a few days ago and we saw a massive increase in AvA activities on Echelon. The map is alive again with the new changes encouraging a lot of smaller alliances/agencies to compete for their personal bit of sand in the desert Echelon had become if not for the new patch.

Whatever expectations people have for tomorrow, the AvA timeframe of today reminded us all of the bugginess and lag that comes with every new patch and the features delivered to the masses, especially the 1.2 patch of tomorrow.
So not much happened, besides RebeL raising the shield thus lowering the hope of getting the base so soon for Euro.

Not much to report today. Another night of base fighting, RebeL strongly expanding and Euro taking a few hexes at the eastern end of the map.

I could write another prosaic report with a lot of cool rome analogies to describe how people literally banged each other at the southern base and how hard Euro has been pushed back because of the orKs prime team not being online. I really could. But would that be right?
Would it be right to talk about so much fighting, pain and agony while this timeframe saw so much love and creativity from a filthy few under the mask of the uncanny robotic androids we often tend to just use instead of asking them about their real feelings towards all that fighting? Today, fellow readers, I saw a smile and had much lolz.

Dominance on the base is shifting constantly as factions are still changing their minds on attacking/not bothering on a daily basis. A short note on the battle for the southern base with old teams under new names, the northern invaders thriving for their base and the last remnants of Thong battling the contestants for… well, because they can.

Euro decided to leave the battle for the southern base while RebeL and remaining Thong forces joined the fight. Even some visitors of the I alliance joined in for the lulz which led to many zigs launched for great justice.

The Echelon timeframe of today saw Mpire dominating the last edge of the map, after resecuring their rare hexes and ultimatively driving every other threat off the map. And with the nukes came the scavengers…

Mpire took their third base, rebeL is struggling for survival and Euro slowly devours hex after hex in the north western territory.
Two days passed. After one very boring night on Saturday, the Sunday nights timeframe was destined to set Echelon once again on fire. Mpires troops marched against rebeL in bitter revenge, Euro took some of the land in the northwestern part of the map, Thong kicked NaniteRage, TE showed up for good and a small, yet unrevealed agency received their last warning.
