Some would say it was Goliath murdering his pink-dressed twin brother but no matter how one puts it, Mpire clearly seems to fade off the map once more. While they turned out to be slightly inferior to their opponents the day before, they just lost a big chunk of territory throughout todays timeframe. Euro used the situation to their advantage: The eastern base is now theirs - once more.

Tonights AvA was packed with everything that makes a night full of epic and win. The fight for the base still rages on, smaller agencies keep on ravaging their neighbours and some people even rage quit.

Since yesterday night had a lot of intense fights and some really remarkable scenes, I decided to throw some of the best situations from my pov together.
Hope it gives those without a lot of experience with the Paingun some input to improve while the rest hopefully finds at least some entertainment in watching me giving pain to the people.

They came without warning and without silence - the impacts of the tactical missiles shook the very ground as the shield of the Euro base fell apart and the blue troops of Thong appeared between the desolate ruins of the former orKs and Nosebleed capital. And so the base is now property of Thong, marking a new milestone in the history of an alliance some already declared as dead meat on the map.

It’s been a while since my last entry - but in general the map hasn’t seen much of a big change. Some smaller teams left the map while some new settled on the ruins of the perished. The big names still remain untouched though.

A weekend passed with substantial more fights than before, thanks to the new additions to the AvA mechanics. The biggest change to the map was Euro being able to secure themselves the eastern base through extensive use of the new defense facilities.

Patch 1.2 kicked in a few days ago and we saw a massive increase in AvA activities on Echelon. The map is alive again with the new changes encouraging a lot of smaller alliances/agencies to compete for their personal bit of sand in the desert Echelon had become if not for the new patch.

Whatever expectations people have for tomorrow, the AvA timeframe of today reminded us all of the bugginess and lag that comes with every new patch and the features delivered to the masses, especially the 1.2 patch of tomorrow.
So not much happened, besides RebeL raising the shield thus lowering the hope of getting the base so soon for Euro.

Not much to report today. Another night of base fighting, RebeL strongly expanding and Euro taking a few hexes at the eastern end of the map.
